New Quantic Dream concept is jaw dropping
Back before Heavy Rain released, developer Quantic Dream released a“casting” video for the project. That video showed a digital actress going through a scene in a kitchen setting. Back then it was pretty exceptional, now you can see all sorts of flaws with lip syncing and the way the characters teeth nearly pop out of her face.
Game director and visionary David Cage at Quantic has returned with another concept video which he swears has little to nothing to do with their next project. The tech demo shows off astounding facial animations from an android being assembled and quickly becoming assimilated with her world.
The tech here is really impressive. And as a short film works really well. They even hired an American actress (Valorie Curry) this time around who bears a striking resemblance to her android counterpart. The lip syncing is still sort of off, especially compared to L.A. Noire. But Cage promises make new features have been added to the software since this demo was made. See an interview with Cage at GameTrailers.

ROSA is an epic sci-fi short film that takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where all natural life has disappeared. From the destruction awakes Rosa, a cyborg deployed from the Kernel project, mankind’s last attempt to restore the earth’s ecosystem. Rosa will soon learn that she is not the only entity that has awakened and must fight for her survival.

Cold Star is a mixture of short and music video. A hybrid, that connects the emotions of a short with beats and lyrics of music. The film is an appeal for acceptance of your own and others sexual identity.
